If you have not done so already, please follow the steps to complete the hardware assembly for the RealSimGear Cirrus Perspective Package or the Cirrus Desktop Console. Once everything is assembled, cables connected and power up please download and install the RealSimGear X-Plane 11 plugin and configure the TorqueSim SR22.

NOTE: Even if you already have the RealSimGear plugin installed, please download the latest one below as the SR22/SR20 requires the latest version in order for full functionality with our hardware.

Install SR22/SR20 aircraft

Download and install the SR22/SR20 from the X-Aviation website.

Configure the Displays

Start X-Plane and load the newly installed SR22/SR20 aircraft.  You will be prompted to enter your X-Aviation account details in order to unlock your aircraft purchase.

• Navigate to the Settings page and then to the Graphics tab. Using the scroll bars on the right and bottom of the page find the x2 G1000 displays and set them to "2-D Panel Only" by clicking the respective drop-down menu.

Click 'Done at the bottom right of the settings screen to return to the main X-Plane menu.

Once in the virtual cockpit, Your PFD and MFD will auto-pop out and appear on your RSG units without any manual input. Their positions are also saved automatically and will reappear after restarts of flights and the simulator itself.

Some Things to Note

This aircraft is very realistic, please remember the following points:

  • If something doesn't work, try recharging your batteries using the SR22/SR20 -Aircraft Menu. By default, the aircraft will remember the state it was left in, if the battery switches have been left on for an extended period at low engine RPM, the battery will drain.

  • If synthetic vision is not working, please ensure that SYNVIS has been turned on using the PFD softkey.

Please contact us if you have any questions, we are here to help and want you to get the most out of your new Cirrus SR22/SR20 home flight simulator.
