NOTE: If you are planning to use Reality-XP for the GNS430/530 or GTN650/750, please ensure you have installed Reality-XP and loaded into your desired aircraft and configured it at least once. The RealSimGear installer below will handle hiding the bezel IF the proper Reality-XP .ini file is found.
NOTE 2: If you had an older version of the RealSimGear plugin installed, please remove it first (such as RealSimGear_GSNx30) by deleting the old folder from
..\X-Plane > Resources > plugins. If you don't remove the old version, you will end up with 2 versions and a conflict.
NOTE 3: This installer is for Windows only. If you are using Linux or Mac OSX, you will need to use the instructions found HERE.
The installer will perform a number of actions base on the product you select. Note, you can select multiple products at once.
- Copy the product specific bezel replacement files (to remove the bezel's on the GNS430/530 and G1000 displays).
- If using Reality-XP, will prompt you to search for and modify the correct .ini files to hide the bezel for those products.
- Will install the RealSimGear Plugin into ..\X-Plane\Resources\plugins\
- Install the required Microsoft Redistributable's

Aircraft Specific Configs
This version of the plugin now also allows for aircraft specific CommandMapping.ini files. Simply copy the CommandMapping.ini file from the RealSimGear plugin folder to the root of the specific aircraft folder, and modify as necessary. This plugin will attempt to use those files first, and then fall back to the generic version if nothing specific is found. For example using this for the HotStart TBM900 would result in a custom CommandMapping.ini file in the ..\X-Plane\Aircraft\X-Aviation\TBM900 folder.
For users of older GNS430 and GNS530 units, this plugin may no longer detect those units. If that is the case, please update the GNS430/530 firmware by following the GNS430 or GNS530 update instructions.
