Why PilotEdge?

So you have your simulator configured and RealSimGear equipment ready to go, but, you feel your experience is lacking a crucial step. Simulating air traffic control has been considered by many simulation pilots the last step for simulating the ultimate real world experience at home. There are several resources available freely on the internet for simulating air traffic control such as VATSIM and IVAO. While these services are free, they are limited by their location and controller availability and at many times you are flying alone in the virtual skies.

PilotEdge is a professional, subscription based, air traffic control simulation service where you are interacting with trained controllers, many of them are real-world ATC controllers who use the service as a hobby and means to keep their controller skills sharp. While PilotEdge is presently focused on the West Coast of the United States, the area of operation has been expanding eastwards for the last couple of years.

PilotEdge is also a great learning platform to those pilots who are new to air traffic control and aviation radio communications. It has many learning opportunities for the ins and outs of VFR and IFR radio communications with a complete training plan for you to follow on your route to proficiency.
