Step 6: Open the aircraft folder you wish to use the GNS430 or GNS530 with and open the panel.cfg file (sometimes this will be in a panel folder) .

Example: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\C208B\Panel

Step 7: Add the entries below to the [Window Titles] section. Replace the "##" with the next following number.

Window##=Mindstar 530
Window##=Mindstar 430

Step 8: Scroll down the file until you find the last "[Window##]" and paste the following block of code after the last "[Window##]" entry replacing the "##" with the number you assigned in the [Window Title] section. Save the changes.

[Window##]

window_size=0.5
position=8
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
gauge00=MPI_GNS!GNS530_nobezel, 0, 0, 456, 520, 1:1:225

or for the GNS430

[Window##]
size_mm=456,189
window_size=0.5
position=8
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
gauge00=MPI_GNS!GNS430_nobezel, 0, 0, 456, 189, 2:1:225

Step 9: Launch FSX/P3D and load into the aircraft you made the changes to.

Step 10: Go to the menu bar at the top and go to views>Instrument Panel and select Mindstar 530
